Qualifications

• CCNE-accredited nursing education program; must have passed NCLEX.
• Minimum two years of professional nursing experience; ER experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assess ED patients and triage based on history and exam.
• Provide direct nursing care for acutely or critically ill patients; administer meds, IV fluids, blood products.
• Operate ER equipment; monitor patient safety and ongoing therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and health professionals to coordinate care and timely treatment.
• Document care and educate patients; uphold HIPAA and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients presenting to the ED, triage based on history, physical exam, and chief complaint.
• Provide direct nursing care for acutely ill and/or critically ill patients; administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor specialized ER equipment; maintain patient safety and monitor ongoing therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure timely treatment plans.
• Initiate patient education plans as prescribed and document care concisely and accurately; uphold HIPAA and professional standards.

Requirements

• Current, full, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Associate, bachelor's, or higher degree in nursing from a CCNE-accredited program; must have passed the NCLEX.
• Minimum two (2) years of professional nursing experience; at least one (1) year in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
• Current certification or willingness to obtain ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently; strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift 20–50 lbs and work nights; must pass required background and criminal records checks as applicable.
