Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Wilmington, NC is seeking a driven Project Coordinator specialized in interior design to support design concepts, space planning, and furniture specifications across client projects.

You will conduct site visits, prepare mood boards and renderings, coordinate with vendors, track milestones, and ensure alignment between design goals and budget while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field required.
• 3+ years of workplace design, interiors, project coordination, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of design principles, furniture systems, finishes and space planning.
• Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders, timelines and priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to balance creative thinking with operational execution.
• Comfortable conducting site visits, field measurements and working in active client environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support development of workplace design concepts, space plans, finish selections and presentation materials.
• Conduct field measurements, site visits and on-site verifications to help ensure design accuracy and project alignment.
• Assess existing site conditions and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
• Participate in client walk-throughs, pre-installation meetings and installation support activities.
• Assist with furniture and product specifications aligned with client goals, budgets and project requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams, account managers and vendor partners to develop cohesive workplace solutions.
• Prepare client-facing presentations, mood boards, renderings and design documentation.
