Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Mid-Level Interior Designer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our design team. The role requires strong technical skills to take projects from concept through documentation and installation, with hospitality design experience highly preferred.

You will develop concepts, prepare floor plans and elevations, create 3D SketchUp models, and coordinate with vendors and consultants while maintaining project schedules and design documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional interior design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp required.
• Strong space planning and furniture layout skills.
• Experience developing design concepts, presentations, and finish/material selections.
• Ability to produce and review detailed construction drawings.
• Knowledge of FF&E, specifications, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and develop interior design concepts.
• Prepare floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, and design details.
• Create 3D models and presentations in SketchUp.
• Produce and coordinate AutoCAD drawing packages.
• Research and source furniture, lighting, finishes, materials, and accessories.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Assist with project installations and site coordination as needed.
• Maintain project schedules and design documentation.
