Job summary

Akima Global Logistics seeks a Supply Technician to support the daily receipt, inspection, and processing of Army equipment at a contractor-operated site. You will verify documentation, update property records, and assist in the Army's property accountability mission.

Key duties include turn-in operations, records management in GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP, and coordination with Army personnel to resolve discrepancies while maintaining safety and accuracy in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading and writing).
• Knowledge of Army logistical functions is beneficial.
• 2–4 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply experience (Army or contractor environment preferred).
• Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply, or property accountability operations is strongly desired.
• Experience with Army regulations and logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment turn-ins from Army units per AR 710-2 and related manuals.
• Verify turn-in documentation (DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts).
• Maintain accurate property records and system entries (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as required.
• Support audits, PARs, and inspections by Army officials.
• Coordinate with unit supply personnel and transportation staff to ensure timely processing.
