Job summary

Akima Global Logistics seeks a Supply Technician to manage daily receipt, inspection, storage, and processing of Army equipment at a contractor-operated site. You will verify documentation, update property records, and support Army property accountability missions.

Responsibilities include processing turn-ins, inspecting items, tagging, logging in GCSS-Army/DPAS/LMP, and coordinating with Army personnel to ensure timely processing and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in English reading and writing.
• Knowledge of Army logistics functions.
• 2–4 years logistics/warehousing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Army turn-in and property accountability operations.
• Knowledge of AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1.
• Experience with Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Ability to operate MHE safely and maintain storage practices.
• REAL ID and valid driver’s license required; CAC eligibility may be needed.
• Background check and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment and materiel turn-ins from U.S. Army units per AR 710-2 and related guidance.
• Verify turn-in documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct visual inspections and assign proper condition codes.
• Tag and segregate unserviceable or excess items.
• Record entries in Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and property adjustments.
• Support audits and Property Accountability Reviews (PARs).
• Operate forklifts and other MHE; follow safety standards.
• Coordinate with unit supply personnel and transportation to ensure timely processing.
