Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL), an Akima company, seeks a Supply Technician Lead to serve as the subject matter expert on daily receipt, inspection, and processing of Army equipment turned in by units at a contractor-operated site. You will verify documentation, update property records, and maintain rigorous property accountability in Army logistics systems.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or supply training preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply experience (Army or contractor environment preferred).
• Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply, or property accountability operations.
• Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Equipment condition coding and serviceability classification standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate MHE and interpret supply documentation (DA and DD forms).
• Must be able to travel within the United States up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment and materiel turn-ins from U.S. Army units per AR 710-2 and related manuals.
• Verify turn-in documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct visual inspections and assign correct condition codes.
• Identify and tag unserviceable, reparable, or excess items.
• Enter data into GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation and discrepancy research.
• Maintain accountability of equipment throughout the turn-in process.
• Support audits and property accountability reviews.
• Safely store and organize equipment in designated areas.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
