Akima Global Logistics (AGL) seeks a Supply Technician Lead to oversee daily receipt, inspection, and processing of Army equipment turned in by units at a contractor-operated site. You will verify documentation, update property records, and support Army property accountability missions at Fort Drum, NY.

Qualifications include 3–5 years in logistics, familiarity with AR 710‑2/735‑5, and proficiency with GCSS‑Army, DPAS, and LMP.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or supply training preferred.
• 3–5 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply experience (Army or contractor environment preferred).
• Familiarity with Army turn‑in, supply, or property accountability operations strongly desired.
• Army regulations and systems: AR 710‑2, AR 735‑5, DA PAM 710‑2‑1; GCSS‑Army, DPAS, LMP.
• Equipment condition coding and serviceability classification standards; strong leadership skills.

Mansioni

• Process equipment and materiel turn-ins from U.S. Army units in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1.
• Verify turn-in documentation (DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts) for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct visual inspections and apply correct condition codes (A–H) for serviceability.
• Identify, segregate, and properly tag unserviceable, reparable, or excess items.
• Ensure timely and accurate entries into Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation, discrepancy research, and property adjustments.
• Maintain accountability of all equipment and materiel throughout the turn-in process.
• Support audits, PARs, and inspections by the COR or Army officials.
• Safely store, stage, and organize equipment in designated warehouse or yard areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (MHE) as required.
• Follow Army and OSHA standards for HAZMAT handling, load securement, and workplace safety.
• Provide assistance to unit supply personnel during the turn-in process.
• Coordinate with supervisors, QA staff, and transportation to ensure timely processing.
• Communicate effectively with Army representatives regarding documentation and corrections.
