Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL), an Akima company, is seeking a Supply Technician to manage daily receipt, inspection, and processing of Army equipment turned in by units at a contractor-operated site.

The role ensures compliance with Army regulations, maintains accurate records in logistics systems, and supports audits and property accountability efforts. Candidates should have 2–4 years in logistics and be able to travel up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading/writing).
• Knowledge of Army logistics functions.
• 2–4 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply experience (Army or contractor environment preferred).
• Familiarity with Army turn-in, supply, or property accountability operations strongly desired.
• Army regulations: AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1.
• Army logistics systems: GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP.
• Equipment, conditioning, coding and serviceability classification standards.
• Ability to interpret and process supply documentation (DA and DD forms).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, and recordkeeping skills.
• Operate MHE safely and maintain proper storage practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-volume environments.
• Must have a REAL ID.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CAC.
• Must be able to obtain Tier1/NACI background eligibility.
• Willingness to travel within the United States up to 75% (90–110 days possible).
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Turn-In & Receiving Operations: process equipment and materiel turn-ins from Army units per AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1, and verify documentation.
• Accountability & Records Management: ensure timely entries in GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP; assist in inventory reconciliation and property adjustments.
• Warehousing & Material Handling: safely store and organize equipment; operate forklifts and MHE; follow Army/OSHA safety standards.
• Coordination & Customer Service: assist unit supply personnel; coordinate with supervisors and QA staff; communicate discrepancies to Army representatives.
