Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a Molded Fiber Process Engineer (mid- or senior level) to advance our molded fiber manufacturing capabilities at the Mason, MI site. Travel up to 50% may be required as projects span multiple locations.

The role combines hands‑on production support with engineering analysis to improve processes from raw materials through finished product, with leadership opportunities for senior candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• For Senior level, at least 6 years of progressively responsible engineering experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support engineering projects focused on molded fiber manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Manage and prioritize projects based on size, complexity, and business need.
• Support critical project work across multiple facilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and manufacturing approaches.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and processes and develop practical solutions.
• Lead process‑failure investigations and establish consistent solutions.
• Develop test parameters, participate in equipment testing and data analysis.
• Establish continuous improvement plans for safety, quality, efficiency, productivity.
