We are seeking a skilled and driven Process Engineer to support and lead moderately complex engineering projects focused on developing and improving process control systems across our manufacturing operations. This role plays a key part in optimizing performance from raw material input through finished product, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage engineering projects of moderate to large scope, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals
- Design, improve, and implement process control systems and procedures
- Troubleshoot production issues and develop practical, scalable engineering solutions
- Conduct process failure analyses, audits, and root cause investigations to drive consistency across operations
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineers, technicians, production teams, and other departments
- Perform feasibility studies related to manufacturing processes including fabrication, machining, and assembly
- Establish and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost
- Create and execute test plans, analyze data, and implement process improvements
- Assist with equipment diagnosis and provide hands‑on support during troubleshooting activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing production equipment, materials, and processes, and resolving issues
Strong knowledge of quality and process improvement methodologies, such as SPC / SQC, 5S, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Gage R&R, Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Ability to develop and manage Process Control Plans and Process Reaction Plans
- Hands‑on experience or familiarity with manufacturing processes such as:
- Thermoforming, injection molding, printing, or paper processing (preferred)
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and production systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
