Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment. The contract offers 13 weeks with options to extend or convert to permanent placement, with shifts across days, evenings, or nights depending on facility needs.

The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and close collaboration with an RN and healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes. New grads are welcome, with housing and travel stipends for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Current TB test/results.
• Fit for duty within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor and document residents' conditions and report changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per standards.
