ProAutomated is seeking problem-solvers who love travel and hands-on work to keep automation projects moving across North America. You’ll support data center startups, perform on-site checks, and lead startup activities with customers and system integrators.

The role emphasizes four-week paid training in electrical, programming, and networking fundamentals, with generous travel rotations and per-diem benefits. A technical degree or 3+ years of related experience is required.

Qualifications

• Foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking.
• 3+ years in related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to relocate within 50 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate their systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Travel rotations follow a days on/off schedule: 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off.
• Work with various customers, gaining real-world experience with large companies while supported by ProAutomated.
