Job summary

ProAutomated is seeking curious, adaptable problem-solvers who love travel and hands-on work. You’ll join a field-based team, supporting data center startups across North America with on-site electrical, mechanical, and control checks.

Expect four weeks of paid training to build your fundamentals in electrical systems and networking. A technical degree or 3+ years of related hands-on experience are required, plus willingness to relocate within commuting distance of a major airport.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site checks (mechanical, electrical, and control).
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse/mfg systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site with engineers.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off.
• Work with customers and ProAutomated team to overcome challenges.
