Job summary

ProAutomated is seeking travel-ready professionals to support data center startups and on-site testing across North America. You will partner with system integrators and manufacturers to ensure flawless operations when it matters most.

A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering is required, with willingness to travel and adapt to rotating schedules. Training is provided and growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport (relocation assistance available).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test and validate on-site systems.
• Provide clear communications and updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off schedules.
• Work with diverse customers while receiving ProAutomated support.
