Job summary

Cencora seeks a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate provider offices on coverage and reimbursement. You will travel within a designated territory across the Southeast to support access for client products and help offices navigate buy-and-bill and payer policies.

The role requires field-based education, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple reimbursement topics while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and consultation to key account customers and cross-functional partners.
• Understands dynamics of Specialty Pharmacy vs. Specialty Distribution and buy-and-bill models.
• Experience with revenue cycle, coding, prior authorization, and appeals processes.
• Deep understanding of medical and pharmacy benefits/policies.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff and managers on logistics for in-office administration and coverage changes.
• Explain payers' coverage management strategies including coding, formulary, prior authorization, and appeals.
• Identify root causes of access or reimbursement issues in offices.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Support other reimbursement and access services offered by clients.
