Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate provider offices on reimbursement and access strategies across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The role requires travel up to 80% within the territory, including overnight trips.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient access to therapies, explain coverage and coding processes, and resolve payer-related challenges while delivering education at provider sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based reimbursement and access support.
• Understanding of physician buy-and-bill model vs. alternate sites of care.
• Knowledge of payers’ coverage management strategies: coding, billing, formulary, prior authorization, appeals.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider staff and managers on logistics to support client products, including in-office administration and coverage changes.
• Explain payer coverage strategies and billing processes to offices.
• Identify root causes of access or reimbursement issues and provide solutions.
• Deliver interactive educational presentations at provider sites of service.
• Support patient access through reimbursement and education across designated territories.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
