Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer to support field operations across diverse heavy civil projects. You will interpret drawings, prepare work plans, conduct quality inspections, and coordinate material deliveries on active sites.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to travel and relocate to cities as required
• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
• Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience preferred
• Passion for safety and keeping people safe on site
• Strong work ethic; flexible for rotating schedules, shift/work weekends
• Demonstrated ethics, integrity and initiative
• Strong communication skills; able to work in teams and independently

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews
• Prepare work plans and work packages
• Conduct quality inspections
• Order and schedule material deliveries
• Assist in field surveying and safety documentation
• Document schedule progress and quantities for updates
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews and toolbox talks
• Supervise field operations
