Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field/Office Engineer to support field crews and project teams across multiple locations in the Eastern District. You will assist in drawings interpretation, quantity takeoffs, and planning while traveling as required to project sites.

Qualifications

0–1 year of related professional construction experience.
Ability to travel and relocate as required.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Assist in interpretation of drawings and specs for field crews.
Perform quantity takeoffs by measurements and percentage complete.
Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages.
Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevations and control points.
Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and safety reviews.
Assist in preparing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Assist in providing solutions for tunneling and construction operations.
Coordinate material deliveries and supervise field operations.
