Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking travel‑oriented engineers to support field installations and startups across North America.

You will perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, lead startup and acceptance tests, and work with automation engineers to ensure flawless system validation. The role requires a technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience (3+ years) in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering, and a willingness to be away from home on rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in related field (Electrical/Mechanical/Automation).
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems and networking basics.
• Willingness to travel extensively and be away from home on rotation.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse/mfg systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test and validate on-site systems.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams during progress.
