Job summary

Clayco, a full-service real estate development and construction firm, seeks a Project Manager based on the construction site to guide projects from concept through closeout in the Dayton area.

You will work with a team on design-build efforts ranging from $20 million to over $200 million, coordinate with superintendents, manage submittals, changes, and cost reporting, and ensure safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
• 6–10 years of experience managing construction projects ($25M+).
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Previous experience leading a successful project management team.

Responsibilities

• Develop Project Chart of Accounts with the project team.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a site logistics plan.
• Assist Superintendent in the management of subcontractors.
• Maintain understanding of the Clayco/Owner contract.
• Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process.
• Assist in generation of project costs and Job Cost Report.
• Contribute to the analyzing and forecast of quarterly Total Cost Projection reports.
• Monitor and record training of all staff personnel.
• Monitor project labor and report equipment needs.
• Assist preconstruction services in bidding projects.
• Participate in the project’s quality process.
• Contribute to schedule and project close-out processes.
