Job summary

Stellar in Norton Shores, MI seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field operations and collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure on-site activities meet high standards. The role requires strong organization, leadership, and communication to manage multiple trades and schedules effectively.

The candidate will assist in planning, inspections, and coordination of drawings/specifications, while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in daily construction operations.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors under direction.
• Maintain up-to-date drawings and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and on-site supplies.
• Track project progress and report milestones.
• Contribute to quality and safety policy development.
• Plan and schedule construction activities.
• Inspect work to ensure conformity with specs and schedule.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
