Job summary

Heritage Auctions in Dallas seeks an experienced specialist to evaluate animation and anime art, Disney Park props, and Disneyana for consignments and sales. You will build relationships, generate leads, and travel to meet clients, with participation in catalog production and auction processes.

The role requires researching, authenticating, and expanding the client base, while supporting the fast-paced auction environment and trade shows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of auction-house experience or equivalent in animation art.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the property and establish auction estimates.
• Acquire consignments through HA and leads.
• Research, authenticate, and catalog property.
• Proof catalog text and images, press releases, consignment and bidding emails, and advertising copy.
• Market lots in auctions to clients.
• Contribute to the expansion of the client database.
• Answer inquiries before, during, and after the auction.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients and review the property for potential consignment.
• Actively participate in auctions and trade shows.
