Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT(R) certification for a Colorado hospital. The position requires at least 1 year of radiology experience, active state license if applicable, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts.
• Performs radiographic examinations and assists radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operates C-arm and O-arm equipment under physician direction.
• Uses hospital HIS and PACS systems for patient documentation.
• Verifies patient identity and exam orders align with clinical diagnosis.
• Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians and care team members.
• Follows policies on safety, radiation protection, infection control and confidentiality.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and restocks exam room supplies as needed.

• Responsible for verifying patient identity and consistency of exam orders with clinical diagnosis
• Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and care team members
• Follows department policies on safety, radiation protection, infection control, and confidentiality
• Monitors and restocks exam room supplies as neededMust maintain HIPAA compliance
• CAPS registration required for Colorado assignment, which may take up to two weeks to process
