Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of radiology experience to work a rotating schedule at a Colorado hospital.

Details

• Rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts
• Performs radiographic examinations and assists radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures
• Operates large C-arm and O-arm equipment under physician direction
• Uses hospital HIS and PACS systems for patient documentation

Requirements

• ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience preferred
• Active state license required, license required if applicable
• Must care for patient populations ranging from neonatal to geriatric
• Basic computer skills required, or ability to obtain within 90 days, to complete online learning and documentation

Additional Information

• Responsible for verifying patient identity and consistency of exam orders with clinical diagnosis
• Maintains collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and care team members
• Follows department policies on safety, radiation protection, infection control, and confidentiality
• Monitors and restocks exam room supplies as needed
• Must maintain HIPAA compliance
• CAPS registration required for Colorado assignment, which may take up to two weeks to process
