American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray for a day shift role in a Surgical Services unit requiring 2+ years of X-ray experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of X-ray experience required.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.

• Prior travel experience required.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Services unit within a 202-bed regional hospital.
• 10-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
• Weekend work required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Performs a variety of imaging procedures at a technical level requiring general supervision.
• Operates and maintains imaging department equipment including X-ray.
• Positions patients and captures physician-ordered images accurately.
• Provides clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure comfort and confidence.
• Notifies physician on duty of exam results.
• Matching scrubs required as part of dress code.
• Candidates living within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers.
• Maximum of 5 days RTO can be requested during the assignment.
