American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience in general X-ray procedures and C-arm operation in surgery.

The role requires current ARRT (R) and BLS, WA state license, and Epic EMR experience, with shifts 3x12 hours Fri-Sun in a hospital setting across adult, pediatric, ICU, ED and OR. Travel and rotation within facilities are possible.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of general X-ray experience and operating C-arms in surgery.
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required.
• WA state license required in hand at time of consideration.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience with infection prevention and radiation safety.
• Able to perform bedside/portable imaging procedures.

Mansioni

• Work in a hospital setting including adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR.
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Fri-Sun, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
• Call is voluntary and appreciated but not mandatory.
• Perform a wide range of X-ray procedures including abdomen, limbs, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging.
• Perform trauma imaging for upper and lower extremities and shoulder/humerus.
• Operate C-arm for mobile and surgical procedures including portable abdomen and chest imaging.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities within the health system.
• Two professional references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year\u2019s Eve, New Year\u2019s Day).

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in X-ray procedures and operating C-arms in surgery
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• WA state license required in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Experience with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety
• Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Management or lead experience preferred
• Must be able to perform bedside/portable imaging procedures

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting including adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday-Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Call is voluntary and appreciated but not mandatory
• Perform a wide range of X-ray procedures including abdomen, upper and lower extremities, spine and pelvis, chest and thorax, and head imaging
• Perform trauma imaging for upper and lower extremities and shoulder/humerus
• Preferred experience with fluoroscopy studies including barium swallow, contrast enema, ERCP, and upper GI series
• Operate C-arm for mobile and surgical procedures including portable abdomen and chest imaging
• Use equipment from GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba, with PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities within the health system
• Previous Providence Health System permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 3 months before returning as a travel contractor
• Candidates must disclose any prior employment history with Providence facilities, including dates and location, during consideration
• Two professional references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
