Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification and experience in surgical imaging for a 13-week travel assignment. The position requires graduates of AMA-accredited radiologic technology programs and state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, OR imaging, and using Cerner EMR, with shifts Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:30 PM and no on-call requirements. Travel housing and licensure reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program.
• State license as a general radiographer required if applicable.
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment.
• 1+ year of recent surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic radiology department averaging 325 patients per day, including 100-120 X-ray procedures.
• 5x8hr day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM.
• Possible floating to an outpatient imaging center.
• Provide diagnostic imaging services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and routine procedures.

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
