American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey.

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X‑Ray) with at least 18 months of experience for a 13‑week travel assignment at a large 900‑bed acute care hospital in Morristown, NJ.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Radiology Technician

• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel
• Shift pattern: 5 days x 8 hours (days), on‑call 2:00 PM–10:00 PM every other weekend

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X‑Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• Active NJ State RT License required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification and BLS
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Must be able to work independently in a large, fast‑paced acute care environment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain equipment, assess safety, and ensure the physical and physiological comfort of patients throughout procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and identify needs for procedural revisions.
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from their initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before beginning a new assignment at this facility.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend to be determined.
