American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift position in Oregon City. Requires ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of experience, with BLS. Compact license may be required.

The role involves a 4x10 night schedule, travel between facilities, and working in a community hospital setting. Candidates should have experience with fluoroscopy and a variety of imaging procedures, and must be prepared for travel and possible housing allowances as part of the travel

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, spine, pelvis, limbs, and skull.
• Operate fluoroscopy studies such as barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series.
• Utilize C-arm, portable imaging, and OR imaging as needed.
• Work in a night shift 4x10 schedule (8:30 PM–7:00 AM) with 1:1 patient ratio.

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with abdomen, chest, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremity, and skull imaging
• Experience with fluoroscopy studies including barium swallow, contrast enema, and upper GI series
• Experience with mobile/surgical imaging including C-arm procedures, portable abdomen, and portable chest
• Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Preferred experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, ICU, and operating room settings

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care hospital setting with 109 staff beds
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Night shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend work required Thursday through Sunday
• Block scheduling required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating between units required within the facility
• Uses Epic charting system
• Uses PACS equipment
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including skeletal, chest, abdominal, and fluoroscopy studies
• Scrubs may be any color unless assigned to OR, Critical Care, ED, or Maternal Child units where scrubs are provided
• No parking fee at this facility
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• RTO requests should be submitted upfront during the application process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• Former Providence employees may return after a 3 month waiting period
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including dates and location, if applicable
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be accepted at a lower bill rate
