Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification for a primarily night shift assignment at a hospital in Leominster, MA.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiology procedures in adult and pediatric acute and outpatient settings, with on-call duties and occasional day shifts. Knowledge of fluoroscopy and EPIC is preferred; travel-friendly benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience.
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required.
• MA Radiology license required if applicable.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Skilled in abdomen/GI, upper and lower extremity, spine and pelvis, chest and thorax, and head imaging.
• Fluoroscopy studies experience including arthrography, barium swallow/esophagus, and upper GI series preferred.
• Trauma case experience preferred.
• Mobile/surgical imaging skills including C-arm procedures, portable abdomen, and portable chest.
• Experience with GE and PACS equipment; Philips preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety.
• Two professional references required for consideration, with one from a Nurse Manager or higher.

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care setting including Emergency Department, ICU, and Operating Room.
• Primarily night shift (3x12 hours, 7p-7a), with occasional day shift as needed.
• No set schedule due to unit needs, with advance notice given for schedule changes.
• On-call requirement of 1 shift per week.
• Union facility requiring availability to work all 7 days with no special scheduling accommodations.
• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures across adult and pediatric acute and outpatient settings.
• Will be required to complete a Pass/Fail EKG test during orientation.
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius.
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed in the first week.
