American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a short-term acute care facility in Portland, OR. The role requires at least 1 year of experience and comfort working in the OR and ER settings, with shifts from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM and a monthly on-call obligation.

Applicants should have ARRT (R) and BLS certifications, OBMI certification, and a valid license with compact eligibility. GE PACS, Carestream/Fuji systems, and C-arm/O-ARM experience are preferred, with travel-related

Mansioni

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Day shift, 4x10 hours, 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• One on-call shift per month
• No weekend requirement
• No unit-to-unit floating within facility
• Epic charting system used
• OR experience required; O-arm experience preferred
• Must be comfortable in the ER setting
• First-time travelers considered
• Scrubs accepted; OR scrubs provided
• No parking fee at facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within 50 miles
• Must commit to 3 of 5 major holidays
• All RTO requests submitted upfront; post-offer RTO may not be accommodated
• May float between sister facilities near contracted location
• Two supervisory references required covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• OBMI certification required
• License required if applicable
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Experience with abdomen/GI, upper and lower extremity, spine and pelvis, chest and thorax, and head imaging preferred
• Fluoroscopy studies experience preferred including barium swallow, contrast enema, ERCP, and upper GI series
• Mobile/surgical imaging experience including C-arm procedures and portable chest/abdomen preferred
• O-ARM equipment experience preferred
• Experience with GE equipment and PACS system preferred
• Experience with Carestream or Fuji systems preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and contrast media administration required

Responsibilities

• Short-term acute care hospital with 418 staffed beds

• Candidates may return to this facility after 3 months if previously employed, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
