Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring ARRT (R) certification and at least 2 years of experience.

The role is in a pediatric hospital setting within Radiology/Cardiology with 3x12 hour night shifts and weekend rotations; travel is required and local candidates are not considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Pediatric imaging experience preferred.
• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric imaging in Radiology/Cardiology.
• 3x12 night shifts (6:00 PM–6:30 AM).
• Weekend shifts as needed (Sat/Sun/Mon rotations).
• No new traveler's with <3 years experience.
• Not accepting local candidates.
• Must live 100 miles away from the facility.
• Submit all time-off requests with application.
• May be required to work holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year).
• Travelers separated from prior role for 1 year.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required as an X-Ray Technologist
• ARRT (R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Pediatric imaging experience preferred
• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Pediatric hospital setting within Radiology/Cardiology department
• 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend shifts required as needed, including Saturday, Sunday, and Monday rotations (subject to change based on manager's needs)
• First-time travelers not accepted unless candidate has 3+ years of experience
• Does not accept local candidates
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and will not be added after an offer is made
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning to a traveler role
