Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT (RT R)(CT) or ARRT CT eligibility; CA state licensure as RT required.
• Advanced CT certification preferred in CA (required in some jurisdictions or settings).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment; Venipuncture certification if performing venipuncture.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent radiologic/CT experience.
• Must meet state-specific licensing and certificiation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Perform CT procedures and radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Position and prepare patients across age groups; ensure proper imaging angles and parameters.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images; maintain patient records and billing information.
• Monitor imaging equipment settings; participate in calibration, quality control, and inventory management.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality; contribute to safe imaging workflow.

Responsibilities

• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the radiology team; maintain accurate patient records and relevant billing information
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment settings; participate in routine calibration, quality control, and inventory management
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines; contribute to a safe and efficient imaging workflow
