Healthforce is seeking a Radiology Tech – CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Sonora, CA, starting 11/09/2026. You will operate CT equipment, perform radiography and fluoroscopy as needed, and produce high-quality images while protecting patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
• Perform radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Produce reformatted sagittal and coronal images for interpretation.
• Use PACS/teleradiology to transfer images while protecting privacy.
• Maintain records and ensure data integrity and billing accuracy.

Radiology Tech – CT Tech, Sonora, CA. Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,379–$2,468 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used to diagnose medical conditions.
• Perform a range of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; ensure high-quality images and accurate labeling.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate records, files and billing information; monitor and ensure the integrity of patient data in compliance with HIPAA.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory.
• Provide patient care that accommodates adolescents through geriatrics, prioritizing safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)
• Licenses/Certifications: California RT license (Required); ARRT RT (R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT (R)(ARRT) (Required); Advanced Certification in CT (Required); Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor (Required); Fluoroscopy license in California (Required if operating fluoroscopy); Venipuncture certification (Required if performing venipuncture for contrast administration)
• Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the radiology field
• Other: Ability to work the night shift; willingness to participate in a travel assignment; commitment to patient privacy and safety
