Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across diverse healthcare settings. You will conduct X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy exams, while upholding ALARA and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Prepare patients, position techniques, calibrate equipment, and document imaging data in EMR/RIS. Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to review results and support patient care decisions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification and state licensure as radiologic technologist.
• Willingness to travel to multiple facilities to cover staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy) per protocols.
• Prepare patients, position, and ensure comfort and safety throughout examinations.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and ensure calibration and safety.
• Adjust exposure settings and image quality for accurate diagnostics.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to adverse events during imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review results and assist care decisions.
• Document imaging procedures and radiation exposure in EMR/RIS accurately.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and radiation safety practices.
• Maintain imaging rooms and equipment in clean, safe condition.
• Travel between facilities to support staffing needs.
