Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across multiple healthcare facilities. You will prepare patients, position them, and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images while ensuring safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, maintaining records in EMRs/RIS, and collaborating with radiologists and physicians to guide patient care.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification.
• State licensure as radiologic technologist with no restrictions.
• Experience with X-ray, CT and fluoroscopy procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy) per protocols.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, position patients, ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and calibrate radiographic equipment and maintain quality control.
• Document procedures and radiation exposure data accurately; maintain EMRs/RIS.
• Adhere to ALARA and safety standards while traveling between facilities.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review results and assist in patient care.
