Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy across diverse facilities. You will prepare patients, operate equipment, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining safety and patient comfort.

Travel to multiple sites, collaborate with radiologists, and uphold professional ethics and regulatory standards are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification (RT, CT, MRI) or equivalent and applicable endorsements.
• State licensure or registration as radiologic technologist with no restrictions.
• Experience in diagnostic imaging with proficiency in X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic principles, anatomy, and pathology.
• Excellent patient care, communication, and assessment skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced radiology department.
• Willingness to travel to meet staffing needs and uphold ethics and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy) following protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring calibration and quality control.
• Position and adjust imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images with proper exposure and contrast.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to adverse reactions during imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to review results and assist in care decisions.
• Document imaging procedures, patient data, and radiation exposure in EMR/RIS.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintain radiology department cleanliness and organization for safety and efficiency.
• Adapt to different imaging modalities and travel between facilities.
