Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Travel Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across diverse healthcare settings in Utah. You will operate X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist (RT) with endorsement applicable to the position.
• State licensure/registration with no restrictions or disciplinary actions.
• Experience in diagnostic imaging with X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy procedures.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic principles, anatomy, and pathology.
• Excellent patient care, communication, and positioning skills.
• Willingness to travel to meet imaging department staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy) following protocols and safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring quality control and safety.
• Adjust imaging parameters to capture diagnostic images of specified body areas.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to adverse reactions during imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review results and assist in decisions.
• Document procedures, patient data, and radiation exposure in EMR/RIS.
• Adhere to ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of radiology spaces.
• Travel to different facilities to meet staffing needs.
