WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding team. You will travel to designated locations to perform X‑ray exams, start-up and shut-down equipment, and ensure procedures follow safety standards. Qualifications

• Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Strong customer service and critical thinking.
• Basic EMR/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm examination order.
• Travel to designated locations within region to perform X‑ray exams.
• Maintain company fleet vehicle and logs.
• Communicate with on-site teams and stay in touch.
• Prepare patients and perform radiologic procedures safely.
• Obtain patient history and note observations.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment functioning and report malfunctions.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans.
• Verify exam in PACS and report in chart.
• Clarify discrepant radiology readings with provider.
• Clean and stock sites with team.
• Participate in QC/QA programs.
• Support patient flow with basic medical assisting duties.
