Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding radiology team. The role involves traveling to designated locations within the region to perform X-Ray exams, ensuring proper patient identification, and maintaining imaging equipment and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include operating X-Ray equipment, handling EMR/Billing documentation, and supporting patient flow with basic medical assisting tasks. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT Certification and Registration.
• Applicable state licensure (as required).
• Active Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm ordered examination.
• Travel to designated locations within the region to perform X-Ray exams.
• Maintain the company fleet vehicle (gas, daily checks, logs).
• Communicate with locations and teams during shifts.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-rays safely.
• Obtain patient history and note observations during exams.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials as required.
• Ensure X-Ray equipment functions properly and report malfunctions.
• Complete Radiologic Procedures in EMR and document for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans.
• Verify exam in PACS and ensure report is in patient chart.
• Clarify discrepancies with medical provider.
• Stock and clean sites; participate in quality control.
• Provide basic medical assisting and occupational medicine duties to support patient flow.
