This travel-friendly role requires 2+ years of experience, CA licensure, ARRT(T) and BLS certifications, and prior travel experience. The position uses Elekta Infinity and Vision RT, with day shifts 5x8 and flexible start times.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology Services department
• Day shift 5x8 hours; start times 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Operate Elekta Infinity units and Vision RT equipment
• Mosaiq and AlignRT experience preferred
• No floating or call requirements
• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments per physician plans
• Work independently with clinical judgment to ensure safety and timely treatment
• Communicate with patients and healthcare teams to build trust
• Adhere to regulations to maintain patient safety and privacy
• May orient staff or perform specialized procedures
• Holiday coverage required with only one holiday RTO per contract
• Accept local candidates within 50-mile radius at local rate
• Returning staff must have 1-year separation before eligibility to return as travelers

• Skilled in external beam therapy, IMRT, SRS, respiratory gating, and treatment of benign brain tumors, heterotopic bone, prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, and prophylactic treatments
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols
