Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient recovery under a licensed Physical Therapist. You will guide patients through therapeutic exercises, implement treatment plans, and document progress across locations in Texas.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain safety and regulatory compliance, and contribute to productive care delivery while helping patients regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the applicable state.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families and teams.
• Ability to meet health and employment regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized therapy interventions and exercise programs to improve function and mobility.
• Document treatments and patient responses in the medical record per guidelines.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation planning activities.
• Communicate patient progress and treatment updates to the team.
• Instruct patients and families on maintenance programs and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Support patient safety initiatives during rehabilitation.
• Travel between treatment locations to provide care as needed.
• Meet productivity standards and complete documentation within timelines.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, professional standards, and policies.
