Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN coverage in Texas. The PTA provides rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and documenting progress.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized plans, communicating with the care team, and maintaining a safe treatment environment across locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized therapy interventions and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Document treatments and patient responses in the medical record.
• Communicate patient progress to supervising therapists and care teams.
• Assure a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Travel between treatment locations as needed to provide patient care services.
