Job summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Cantex provides rehabilitative care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patient recovery, mobility, strength, and independence. You will implement treatment plans and guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve function.

Work involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting progress, and ensuring regulatory and organizational standards are met.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the applicable state of practice.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to meet health and employment requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized therapy interventions and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Document treatments and patient responses in the medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan rehabilitation.
