Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network in Texas seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient recovery under a Physical Therapist supervision. The PTA will implement individualized treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, and work with an interdisciplinary team to improve mobility and independence.

This full-time role may require travel between treatment locations, adherence to regulatory standards, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license for state of practice.
• Effective English communication, both spoken and written.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising PT.
• Implement individualized therapy interventions and exercise programs.
• Document treatments and patient responses in the medical record.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation planning.
• Communicate progress and updates to the rehab team and supervisors.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff on maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Travel between treatment locations as needed to provide care.
• Meet productivity standards and complete documentation timely.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
