American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Silver Spring, MD. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in orthopedics, outpatient settings, personal injury, and workers' comp.

The role includes a Monday-Thursday schedule with alternating shifts, no weekends, an average caseload of 12-14 patients per day, and support from front office and PT aides.

Qualifications

• No new graduates accepted
• Experience in orthopedics, outpatient, personal injury, and workers' compensation required

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting within the PTA Outpatient unit
• Caseload averages 12-14 patients per day, approximately 60 per week
• Facility double-books patients, so average caseload remains consistent regardless of scheduled volume
• Shifts Monday-Thursday alternating between 7 AM-3 PM and 11 AM-7 PM, with Fridays 7/8 AM-3/4 PM
• No weekend scheduling required
• 13-week contract length
• Uses RainTree EMR for documentation
• Full support staff including front office and PT Aides/Techs available to assist clinicians with patient flow
• First Day Instructions (FDI) provided by the Clinic Director prior to assignment start, including staff introductions, EMR orientation, and shadowing treatments
• Second day typically involves full patient treatment responsibilities
• Clinicians carry a caseload similar to that of facility-employed PTAs
• Travel pairs accepted
