Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Crown Point, IN. The role is a 13-week assignment, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour days. The PT will provide evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care in an acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered. Must hold BLS and state-specific licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-driven plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed per patient condition.
• Use hospital computer systems; maintain timely documentation.
