Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Rensselaer, IN. The PT will evaluate patient needs, develop and execute plans of care in an acute care setting, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of PT experience, a current BLS certification, and an active state license. Travel positions include 40 hours weekly and a Thursday–Sunday shift pattern in some cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience in acute care.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active state PT license.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy technicians.
• Bill within the setting following guidelines.
• Interact with medical staff to ensure plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care and modify as needed.
• Documentation compliant with state/insurer requirements.
