Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, with 40 hours/week and 8-hour days.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional backgrounds) and must hold BLS plus state licensing. Travel benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff in the facility.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Understand PT board rules and regulations for the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment needs and patient mobility aids.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
