Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Portland, Indiana. The PT will evaluate, plan, and execute care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting while coordinating with the medical team and overseeing support staff.

Requirements include 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state-specific licensure. The role is 40 hours per week with an 8-hour days shift and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Must have state-specific PT licensure and ability to obtain any required additional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients.
• Execute and monitor plan of care in acute care settings.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff; document per guidelines.
• Interact with medical center staff to coordinate care and compliance.
